Kantipur HISSAN EduFair 2016 is set to commence from May 19-22 (6-9 Jestha) at Bhrikuti Mandap, and will end on June 28. The education fair is a joint venture of Higher Secondary Schools’ Association Nepal (HISSAN) and Kantipur Publications. The expo aims to promote educational institutions in Nepal. Kunal Shrestha, Executive Manager at Kantipur Publications, said, “There’s a new synergy with the partnership and can be a good contribution to the education system.” He further said that the fair would be a good way to gain students’ insights into what they’re seeking in an educational institution.
Yubraj Sharma, Chairperson of the fair, pointed out that the difference in the fair was because of the involvement of the private sectors. Sharma said that it was a coming together of private institutions and more than financial competition, this fair would bring out the cooperativeness of the private institutions. “This is also an opportunity to show that what the private intuitions are doing and what they have to offer,” he said. The fair is set to have 70 stalls and is targeting 200,000 visitors. Kantipur HISSAN Edu Fair 2016 will be held on May 19-22 (6-9 Jestha), 2016

Farewell Program for the First Batch of Science and A-Level AS was conducted on the 16th of Chaitra 2072 at Nepal Academy Hall (Pragya Pratisthan), Kamaladi, Kathmandu, as per the year plan on the completion of the formal classes.
The program started with the inaugural of the Annual Magazine UNI-BUZZ of Uniglobe HSS/College and GLOGYNE of Global College International. The program was jointly organized by students of Grade 11 Science and Management to bid a farewell to the sophomores. All the sophomores were handed over a token of love as a memento from the school to treasure all the memories of the school days.
The program was colored with various programs filled with fun and frolic; drama, dance, songs, fashion show, caricature, beatboxing, poems, couplets et cetera. The formal program was hosted by Thaneshwor Pandey, ECA In-charge and informal program was held by students from Grade 11.

Ethnic day, which is the part of Biz-Fest 2016 was held at GCI. During the program, various cultural programs were organized. Students from the different ethnic groups and community were in their ethinic and cultural attires. The diverse ethnic and cultural attire reflecting the Nepalese multi cultural and ethnic prospect.

Simulation Program 2016, a part of Biz-Fest 2016 is an annual event of GCI Business School, organized and managed by MBA graduates under GCI Students Center. The event aimed to promote bonding, relationship and fraternity among the Nepal’s business school students through various activities under the themes of creativity, innovation and entertainment.
Simulation program is the platform for students to implement their business ideas into real business. There are eleven different teams of GCI MBA, participating in the simulation program and have executed their business ideas into real business. During the simulation program college provided different mentor and evaluator in order to guide the students in different aspect of business, such as operation, marketing and branding, financing and accounting etc. Along with the implementation of these idea by these students, there will be the Business Plan Development Training workshop for the students and the participating team have to develop the business plan and with the presentation of business plan, the simulation program will formally end up generating new business idea and exposure of real business to the student and connecting them with the probable investors.
